Tetyana Poverlyak
I am Ukrainian and based in the U.S. I work with Ukrainian clients worldwide, as well as English-speaking clients. Over the past four years, I have gained practical experience working with refugees in a multicultural environment.
My first step into psychology was as a client. I totally changed my life and moved from being an Associate Professor to getting an education in the psychology field.
I use my personal experience and professional expertise to help people rebuild their lives and reach their full potential.
Every client is unique, so my approach is tailored to the individual needs of each person I work with. I prioritize deep listening and follow the specific requests and goals of my clients to ensure the therapy is relevant to their lives.
My primary method is Psychoanalytic Katathym-Imaginative Psychotherapy (KIP). This approach combines traditional psychoanalytic conversation with guided imaginative sessions. This method is highly effective for clients seeking deep psychotherapy and long-term emotional resolution. Additionally, I incorporate coaching techniques when clients need practical, goal-oriented support. I provide services for individuals, couples, and parent-child relationships.
